| The following information illustrates three suggested methods of installing
EVERGRAIN railing. All three methods are designed to provide you with a finished
product that is attractive. All railing is for external use only.
Post-Mounted Outside Joist Baluster to Rail
1. Wood post should be spaced at a maximum of 6 feet on center. Do not notch posts. 2. Do not use EVERGRAIN for posts. 3. Drill pilot holes before screwing. (for best appearance, countersink before screwing) Screws to be a minimum of 1" from end of boards 4. Use #8 or #10 x 2-1/2" galvanized or stainless steel screws. 5. For best appearance wrap wood posts with EVERGRAIN skirting.
Post-Mounted Inside Joist to Rail
