Cabinet Construction
All cabinet fronts are made from 3/4" solid maple. Front stiles are pocket-drilled and assembled with 1-1/2" screws for rugged durability.
Side panels, made from 3/8" particle board, are glued and stapled into a 3/8" dado in the cabinet's front frame. Standard construction is
with vinyl covered particle board cabinet sides.
Cabinet Doors
Doors are constructed using 3/4" x 2-1/4" solid maple rails with mortised and tenoned corner joints. Flat panel doors use a 1/4" veneer center
panel. Raised panels are 5/8" solid maple veneer on fiberboard panel. Center panels are held in place using rubber balls that allow for expansion
and contraction.
Drawers
Kitchen drawers are constructed of 1/2" sides with rounded top edges and dovetailed corners. The box is installed using self-adjusting roller guides
for smooth operation.
Shelves
Base cabinets feature permanent center shelves.
Hinges
All cabinets include hidden, self-closing hinges. Cabinet doors are beveled on back for easy grip opening.
