Prepare Surfaces

• Fill any large holes
• Sand rough spots
• Remove sawdust
• Cut facing to allow for ½" overlap

Paper backed

• Apply contact adhesive to both surfaces
• Allow both surfaces to dry thoroughly and carefully position veneer

Bonding

• Smooth surface with a plastic smoothing blade, hand roller, or rolling pin
• Follow the direction of the grain
• Press firmly to tighten bond and remove air bubbles

Finishing

• Trim excess with Band-It Edge Trimmer or utility knife, router or file
• Sand wood veneer smooth with fine sand paper or steel wool
• Let bond set for 24 hours
• Finish as desired
