WELDED GATES MANUFACTURED USING VINYL EXTRUSIONS FROM THESE COMPANIES:
When installed in conformity with the manufacturer's guidelines and used under
normal conditions, as follows:
Fencing and Railing gates will not chip, peel, rot, blister, pit, rust, flake, corrode, be
consumed by insects or suffer from uneven or excessive discoloration under normal atmospheric
and weather conditions.
This warranty is void if the following occurs:
Improper installation, misuse, neglect, impact of objects, fire or tornado. |

• Wind Damage
Caused by the gate not being properly latched when in use.
Photos A, B & C show the damage that occurs when wind slams the unlatched gate against the
hinge post or latch post.
Extremely cold weather exacerbates the problem.
• Single Gates
Must be securely latched when not in use.
• Double Gates
Must be secured when left open
When closed, latch must be secured and both drop rods must be inserted in holes drilled into
surface below.
If the holes are frozen or clogged they must be cleaned out.
• Heaving Concrete
Photo D shows a gate that was forced open after the concrete
heaved up during an extremely cold winter. |
